During a short conversation, Joris Verhoeven, co-owner of LEF, told us more about the results they have achieved so far with the solutions (Smart Inbox, WhatsApp application, job alert and notification) from Joboti.

LEF said that their candidates appreciate it if their recruiters can switch gears and communicate quickly. “With the growing shortage on the labor market, the roles are turning,” says Joris. “As an organization and a recruiter, you apply to the candidate and not the other way around. Is it taking too long to come up with a response? Then there is a good chance that the candidate will receive an offer from another recruiter or organization. Opportunity lost…”
What was the reason for LEF to team up with Joboti?
“We want to make it as easy as possible for candidates to contact us in as many ways as possible,” says Joris. “If you send an e-mail, it often ends up in the spam box or is ignored. But people always respond to a WhatsApp message, especially the younger generation. That difference is really significant.”
Live up to expectations
Because the labor market is also changing very quickly, LEF is working on optimizing their processes this year. Joris: “In this way, we as recruiters can continue to switch gears. We meet the expectations of candidates, relations and the market – without compromising on the quality of our services.”
Together with Joboti, LEF has looked at how they can communicate faster and better with their candidates through a number of solutions from Joboti.

“If you look at the solutions we all purchase from Joboti, there are quite a few. Fortunately, the implementation went fairly smoothly. Esther (van den Berg, Customer Success Manager) thinks along very well with us. In fact, Joboti’s products are fairly standard, but despite that, customization is still done. Joboti thinks along with you as a customer and we at LEF experience that as very pleasant.”

Joris: “My tip for approaching candidates quickly is therefore to work with a tool such as Joboti. In addition, I would also say: make it accessible for your colleagues to approach someone via WhatsApp. We did this, for example, by recording a nice instructional video. We get nice reactions to that and it immediately breaks the ice.”
